Buckwheat a new crop in Pakistan. Pakistani people are highly dependent on wheat and to some extend rice but both are not ideal or complete food because of poor quality protein. Since wheat or rice are staple and filler, if these can be fortified with good quality foods then nutritional deficiency can be addressed. Buckwheat is one of such food grains which tastes like wheat but much better nutrient profile.
